Eels meet members at open training session

The Eels welcomed the Blue & Gold Army into their inner sanctum for a member’s open training session and fan day on Monday.

Club members came in droves to see the Eels’ NRL squad put through their paces at Kellyville Park before the players sat down for an hours-long meet and greet.

A vibrant buzz rang through the atmosphere at Eels HQ as around 1,000 members turned out with cheers, chants, and beaming smiles in tow.

The Eels faithful got a glimpse of Brad Arthur’s plans for 2023 during an intense field drill, and then rubbed shoulders with their favourite players in a spirited signing session.

“It’s always a great day when we welcome our faithful members to Eels HQ for an open training session,” Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos said.

“The playing group always enjoy meeting and connecting with our fans.

“It’s a great way to lead into the upcoming 2023 NRL season as we look forward to a successful year ahead.”
