The Parramatta Eels have provided an update on the Club's U14s, U15s and U16s development programs.
"Our U14s and U15s teams have now completed the first phase of the club's development program, an 8-week period," said Eels Senior Academy Coach Joe Grima.
"For the commencement of the junior rugby league season, more than 100 development players from the district will now head back to their local clubs.
"Our 36-man, U16s team will remain and take part in the new NSWRL format, competing in a four-round summer series against the Roosters, Bears, Panthers and Sea Eagles.
"The program's second and third phases will last through the April and July holidays, respectively. Each age group will have numerous on-field training sessions, crucial touch points and friendly matches all playing part of the program.
"The next step for our young men continuing their rugby league development in older-aged development programs or elite pathways programs, including Harold Matthews Cup, will be our invitation selection trials in August."
The Eels' U16s development team will face the Sydney Roosters at Henson Park this Saturday at 10:30am, with the below line-up confirmed.
