Jake Arthur released

The Parramatta Eels have granted Jake Arthur an early release from his contract to join another NRL Club.

A local junior, Jake progressed through the Eels pathways system from the U14s development team, Harold Matthews, and SG Ball teams through to the NRL squad in 2021. He made his NRL debut in Round 10, 2021 against the Warriors scoring his first try and played in last year’s Grand Final team.

General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Jake is one of the most hard-working and resilient young men and we are very proud of what he has contributed to our Club. He has an incredibly calm demeanour and talented football brain which I’m sure will help him succeed for many years to come in the NRL.

“We would like to thank Jake for his hard work and wish him the very best for his future.”
