Michael Cronin inducted to NSWRL Hall of Fame

Parramatta Eels legend Michael Cronin was inducted into the NSWRL Hall of Fame at the 2023 True Blues Gala Dinner.

A four-time premiership winner and the greatest point-scorer in Parramatta history, Cronin was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the NSWRL on Monday night.

Cronin made 27 appearances for the NSW Blues in the 1970s and 1980s, scoring 192 points for his state.

He joins fellow Parramatta players Brett Kenny and Arthur Beetson as members of the NSWRL Hall of Fame.

Cronin made 216 first grade appearances for the Parramatta Eels, including four Grand Final victories, and won the Rothmans Medal twice in 1977 and 1978. He also represented Australia on 33 occasions from 1973-83.

"Crow" retired as the greatest point-scorer in both Club and NSWRL history with 1,971 points.
