The Parramatta Eels have awarded Life Memberships to Tim Mannah and John Monie in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the Club.
Tim Mannah played 233 NRL games for the Eels during 11 years of first grade, and captained the Club from 2013 - 2018. He played six finals matches including the 2009 NRL Grand Final and represented NSW Origin on four occasions from 2010 - 2011.
He received numerous individual accolades throughout his playing career, including Club Person of the Year, Ray Price Community Award, Jack Gibson Coaches Award and the Ken Thornett Medal in 2015.
Tim represented the Club with distinction both on and off the field throughout his playing career, and continues to do so. He is a renowned favourite among the Club's fans, members and corporate partners.
A one-club player synonymous with the Blue & Gold, Tim Mannah is a worthy recipient of Parramatta Eels Life Membership.
John Monie was a member of the Eels' coaching staff for nine seasons from 1981 - 1989, and an integral contributor to Parramatta's four Premiership triumphs.
He was an assistant coach for the 1981, 1982 and 1983 Premiership-winning seasons, and Head Coach of the Eels for 149 games including the victorious 1986 Grand Final.
John has made an enormous contribution to rugby league as a Head Coach, overseeing 456 games across his time with the Eels, New Zealand Warriors, and in the Super League.
The Eels proudly presented him with a ring to celebrate his role in the Club's four Premiership wins.
