This year's nominated Sports Dads will be profiled on sportsdads.com.au which will include questions and answers from the players about their families, as well as some comments from the athletes' family.

All voters have the opportunity to win special prizes for their own father this Father's Day, with the winning Philips Sports Dad of the Year receiving $5,000 to donate to their charity of choice and Clint’s is Ronald McDonald House Charities.

"King Gutho", as he’s affectionally known, is indeed one of the game's most inspiring and wholehearted players. He is closing in on 200 games for the Eels, where he has scored almost 90 tries and played a hand in setting up just as many.

Clint’s always motivated to play his best each week for the club, and now he only has to take one look at his daughter Romy.

“Being a dad now has 100 per cent given me a new perspective on everything,” Clint said.

"I play hard on the field every day. In the past I did it for my team and now I do it for my team and also to make my daughter proud. I want to show Romy that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve your dreams."

His partner Jesse went onto say:

“Clint truly just loves being a dad. He is there when I need him and always makes sure both Romy, myself and our two fur babies are happy and taken care of.”

This year's other finalists are Daly Cherry-Evans (NRL), Max Gawn (AFL), Scott Pendlebury (AFL), Marika Koroibete (rugby), Andrew Redmayne (football), Craig Goodwin (football), Matt Ebden (tennis), Rohan Dennis (cycling) and Usman Khawaja (cricket).
