Bryce Cartwright and Wiremu Greig extend with Eels

Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce Bryce Cartwright has extended with the Club for two years until the end of 2025, and the Club’s Rookie of the Year Wiremu Greig has also signed a two-year deal, which will see him stay at the Club until the end of the 2025 NRL season.

General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Both players have worked extremely hard and have played their best football this year. Bryce has an enormous amount of skill and was one of our most consistent players this season. We look forward to seeing him continue his great form next year”.

“It has also been exciting to see Wiremu take his game to another level when he stepped up in the front row in the absence of Junior and Reagan this season and displayed a level of leadership beyond his years. He showed just how hard he is to handle, making a tremendous contribution to the team,” said Mark.

Bryce said he has found a home at the Parramatta Eels.

“I never wanted to go anywhere else, I love this Club. I’ve got some really close friends here, I love Brad, and all the coaching staff,” said Bryce.

Wiremu had a breakout season in the competition this year and despite an injury set back which forced him on the sideline for a few weeks, his impressive form earnt him the Rookie of the Year Award at the Ken Thornett Medal Night.

“I’m grateful to the Club for trusting me to step up to the starting side. I wanted to use thatopportunity to keep building trust and continue to become a better player,” said Wiremu.

The NRL squad will return to pre-reason training in November.
