The Parramatta Eels celebrated Movember at Parra Leagues Club last week with appearances from three special guests.
Shaun Lane, David Gower and Tim Mannah featured as panelists to discuss Movember and the contribution it makes towards mental health in the community.
They touched on the pressures of being an elite athlete, managing stress and anxiety, and strategies for better mental health.
The three were joined by Simone De Mario-Henry of the Be Unstoppable Foundation, a mental health organisation who strive to be a positive change catalyst in the lives of millions of people.
Movember is an annual initiative to raise awareness for men's health issues, including mental health.
"Having initiatives in place to promote conversation as much as possible is very important," Shaun Lane told Nine News.
