Shaun Lane recently paid a visit to the headquarters of our Major Partner, ALAND, for a screening of his documentary, Out of My Lane.
The documentary shines a light on Shaun’s journey of self-discovery across Europe in the off-season of 2024, with Shaun connecting with professionals across the world of sport, including Socceroo, Matt Ryan.
ALAND supported the release of the documentary, and were the ‘Presenting Partner’ of the film – which was aired across the club’s channels, as well as 9Now. The staff screening was part of an initiative from ALAND, in support of Men’s Mental Health Month – with Shaun fielding questions from staff afterwards.
ALAND’s founder, Andrew Hrsto, supported the initiative, as well as highlighting the importance of mental wellbeing in the workplace.
At ALAND mental health is actively supported. We understand that by fostering a culture of openness and support, employees are empowered to prioritise their mental well-being without fear of stigma or judgment.
Andrew Hrsto - ALAND Founder
“As a construction company with a predominantly male team, we understand the need to talk about male mental health. We all know the very shocking statistics around male suicide in Australia, and open and honest conversations around mental health challenges are the first step in reducing these numbers.” Hrsto says.
