Eels celebrate success of high achievers

The Parramatta Eels celebrated their excellent youth with a High Achievers Dinner at CommBank Stadium this week.

The evening commemorated the Eels juniors who earned selection for the NSW U19 Origin and Australian Schoolboys teams in 2024:

  • Lachlan Coinakis (Australian Schoolboys)
  • Ryda Talagi (Australian Schoolboys)
  • Tyson Sangalang (Australian Schoolboys)
  • Lincoln Fletcher (Australian Schoolboys)
  • Matt Arthur (NSW U19 Origin)
  • Sam Tuivaiti (NSW U19 Origin)
  • Lindsay Tui (NSW U19 Origin)
  • Ryvrr-Lee Alo (NSW U19 Origin)

The eight youngsters excelled through the Eels Pathways program to earn representative honours and play for their state or country.

Several key figures were in attendance to celebrate the Eels' youth, including Trent Barrett.

Eels Head of Elite Pathways James Shepherd applauded the players and highlighted the Club's dedication to junior development.

"We're incredibly proud of these young men and women," he said.

"Tonight's celebrations are a testament to their hard work and commitment, as well as that of their families and support networks.

"As a development club, we take great pride in recognising these achievements and the success of our Pathways program."

The Eels' four U19 Origin representatives were victorious when NSW defeated Queensland in both Male and Female divisions last month.

The Australian Schoolboys quartet, meanwhile, will pull on the Green & Gold later this year.
