The Parramatta Eels have today announced the signing of halfback Dean Hawkins for two years until the end of the 2026 season.
Parramatta Eels GM of Football Mark O’Neill said Hawkins will be a great addition to the team.
“Dean is a talented player who adds depth to our backline. We look forward to welcoming him to our Club in a few weeks to commence pre-season training with our NRL squad.”
Hawkins played 14 NRL games for the Rabbitohs before sustaining a season-ending injury earlier this year.
He guided the Rabbitohs to the 2023 NSW Cup title, subsequently earning the 2023 NSW Cup Player of the Year award. He was also named NSWRL Halfback of the year in 2022 and 2023.
