Injury Update: 2025 NRL pre-season

Many players have since resumed full training, while others continue their rehabilitation with return dates in sight.

Dylan Brown (knee) is near completing his recovery from the partial ACL tear suffered in the final game of the 2024 season. He is currently being integrated back into full training, and will begin unrestricted training post-Christmas.

Charlie Guymer (ankle) has resumed full team training after his debut NRL season was ended by a syndesmosis injury.

J'maine Hopgood (back, knee) has made a full recovery from the back injury which saw him miss the second half of the 2024 season. However, he recently underwent an arthroscopy to resolve a knee issue. Hopgood is aiming to begin full training in late January or early February.

Mitchell Moses (biceps) made his return from injury with Australia at the Pacific Championships, and has now begun pre-season training with the Eels.

Junior Paulo (foot) has resumed full training after recovering from his season-ending lisfranc injury.

Bailey Simonsson (knee) has begun running as he continues his rehabilitation for an ACL injury. He is aiming for a Round 1-3 return.

Three additional players have joined the rehabilitation crew since the end of the 2024 season.

Haze Dunster (knee) underwent an arthroscopy in October, and is now in the latter stages of his rehabilitation. He will integrate back into full training post-Christmas.

Jake Tago (knee) recently had an arthroscopy on a meniscus tear. He will aim to return to full training in mid-late January.

Jack Williams (wrist) underwent off-season surgery on a ligament injury, limiting him to partial training. The new recruit will integrate into full training post-Christmas.
