The Parramatta National Rugby League Club has appointed Matt Brady as its representative Director on the Parramatta Junior Rugby League Board.
Mark O'Neill, GM Football said “Matt is an accomplished candidate for this vital role. His experience aligns perfectly with the appointment which will benefit both the Eels and the Junior League”.
Rugby League has been a central part of Brady’s life for over two decades, from grassroots development to elite pathways. His experience spans multiple leadership roles, including eight seasons at the helm of the Junior League and serving as both a Board Member and Chair of the NSW Community Rugby Leagues Association. These roles have given him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within junior rugby league, particularly in growing participation, strengthening club sustainability, and enhancing player pathways.
Having worked in NRL Game Development and led as President of a Junior League Club, Brady knows firsthand how vital junior rugby league is — not just for developing athletes but for fostering community spirit and ensuring the game continues to thrive.
Currently employed as the Elite Programs Operations Manager for the Parramatta Eels, Brady bridges the gap between junior league participation and elite development, ensuring young players have a clear and supported pathway to the top. His expertise lies in leadership, governance, and strategic development—skills that directly contribute to assisting, fostering, and promoting the Parramatta Junior Rugby League.
Matt will join formally at the next Board meeting in February.
