The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce details for our U14/U15 Female Academy for the 2025 season. Now in its second year, the U14/U15 Female Academy is the first step in the Parramatta Eels Female pathway to NRLW for young girls that play in the Parramatta Junior Rugby League.
All 2025 Parramatta Junior Rugby League registered players born in 2010 (15) and 2011 (14) will be invited to nominate for the Trial Process for the Female Academy via email.
The Trial Process will include a Trial Game and Skill Development clinic during the April School Holidays. The selected squad will then train once a week throughout May and June with the aim to finish the Program with a Development Game/Gale Day in the July School Holidays.
Please see below timeline for the 2025 U14/U15 Female Academy:
- Monday 17 March - 2025 registered players (Born in 2010 or 2011) will receive an email from the Parramatta Eels Elite Pathways Team inviting them to nominate for the Female Academy. Please note: only those players registered for the 2025 season will receive an email. Further emails will be sent to any players who register after this date. A link to nominate will be provided in the email.
- Friday 4 April - Nominations close.
- Monday 7 April - Players to receive final details via email regarding Trial Process.
- Thursday 17 April (School Holidays) - Trial Day
- Thursday 24 April (School Holidays) - Skill Development Clinic
- Wednesday 30 April - Squad Announced
- May - June - Training (1 night per week)
- June (School Holidays) - Potential Development Game/Gala Day
