Vicki Leaver to conclude nine-year tenure on Parramatta Eels Board

The Parramatta Eels today announce that Board member Vicki Leaver will conclude her nine-year term at the completion of the 2025 NRL and NRLW seasons.

Vicki’s dedication, insight, and commitment have left a lasting mark on the Club, and her contributions over nearly a decade of service have helped guide the Eels through both challenges and growth.

Parramatta Eels Club Chairman, Matthew Beach, extended his gratitude for Vicki’s service.

“Vicki has been an integral part of the Eels Board for nine years and we are immensely grateful for her steady leadership and tireless dedication. Her passion for the Club and community has never wavered, including playing an instrumental role in the launch of the Club’s NRLW team. Her impact will be felt for years to come.”

Vicki Leaver reflected on her time on the Board.

“It has been an absolute honour to serve on the Board of the Parramatta Eels. This Club means so much to our members, fans, and the wider community, and it’s been a privilege to play a part in its journey over the past nine years.

“I’m especially proud to have supported the introduction of the Eels NRLW team, which has helped broaden the Club’s impact and inspire the next generation of female athletes."

Following Vicki’s departure, the Club is pleased to confirm that Mickey Beaini will join the Board at the conclusion of the 2025 NRL and NRLW seasons.

Mickey brings a deep connection to Parramatta and a strong background in business and community development.

“Parramatta has always been home to me,” Mickey said. “I grew up in the heart of Parramatta, and as a lifelong Parra fan, my connection to this community runs deep and it’s a place that continues to inspire the work I do on a daily basis.”

Mickey commenced his professional career in the field of electronics, holding positions at Channel 7 and working as a Sony technician. He later transitioned into property development establishing the Beaini group of companies. Over the past 22 years, he has cultivated a distinguished career, delivering a diverse portfolio of projects including mixed-use communities, retail assets, shopping centres and childcare facilities.

The Parramatta Eels thank Vicki Leaver for her exemplary service and warmly welcome Mickey Beaini as he prepares to step into this important role.
