
The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce that rising star Ryvrr-Lee Alo has been upgraded to the club’s Top 24 NRLW squad for the 2025 season, with a contract extension securing her future at the Eels through to the end of 2027.
A standout performer in the club’s junior development system, 18-year-old Alo has earned her place following an outstanding season leading the Eels’ 2025 Tarsha Gale Cup side to a historic first title in the competition. As captain, she was awarded Player of the competition reflecting her leadership and consistent excellence on the field.
Parramatta Eels Head of Football Mark O’Neill praised Alo’s elevation and long-term commitment to the club, “Ryvrr-Lee Alo’s promotion to the NRLW competition highlights the Parramatta Eels’ commitment to developing elite women’s talent.
“We have been delighted to watch Ryvrr-Lee’s rise through our pathways system and can’t wait to see what she can do at NRLW level in the blue and gold,” he added.
Ryvrr-Lee Alo has progressed through the Eels’ women’s pathways and has emerged as one of the most promising young locks in the country.
A proud Parramatta junior, Ryvrr-Lee began her rugby league journey with the All Saints Toongabbie Tigers, initially joining to play alongside friends. Her natural athleticism quickly shone through, with her versatility on display across rugby league, rugby union, and touch football.
She has also represented the Cook Islands at international level and was recently selected in the NSW Under-19s State of Origin squad.
