NRL Injury Update: Round 23

The Parramatta Eels can provide the following injury update on the NRL squad ahead of their Round 23 match against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Sean Russell fractured his right hand in the first half of the match against the Melbourne Storm, despite bravely playing out the rest of the match he will undergo surgery to repair a fractured second metacarpal today. He will be out for 4-6 weeks.

Sam Tuivaiti suffered a grade two medial ligament injury to his right knee. He will be out for 8-10 weeks.
