The Parramatta Eels came together last night at CommBank Stadium to celebrate the 2025 season at the prestigious Ken Thornett Medal night. Players, coaches, staff, partners, and special guests gathered for an evening of recognition, reflection, and celebration.
The night’s highest honour, the Ken Thornett Medal for NRL Player of the Year, was awarded to Jack Wiliams whose consistency, leadership, and on-field excellence stood out across the season. In a year filled with highs and lows, his performance embodied the resilience and passion the Blue and Gold are known for.
Other major awards included the Nathan Hindmarsh Players' Player, Ray Price Community Award, Jack Gibson Coaches’ Award, and the Eric Grothe Snr Rookie of the Year, each highlighting the values of hard work, team spirit, and community contribution.
Beyond the awards, the night was also a celebration of connection across generations, roles, and backgrounds, a reminder of the strength of the club’s culture united by the badge.
As the curtain falls on the 2025 NRL season, the Ken Thornett Medal night was a fitting tribute to the efforts of everyone involved in the club and a moment to look ahead to the future with optimism and unity.
The Eels will celebrate their NRLW players following the conclusion of the 2025 Women’s Premiership season.
