The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce the signings of Jayde Herdegen and Jasmin Morrissey for the 2026-2027 NRLW seasons, adding exciting depth and proven talent to the Club’s backline.
Jayde Herdegen arrives at Parramatta from the Sydney Roosters, having begun her rugby league journey with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls. A versatile playmaker who can feature at five-eighth or at halfback, Herdegen also boasts representative honours, having played for Queensland in the 2021 U17 Country and 2022 U19s State of Origin.
Jasmin Morrissey joins the Eels from the Gold Coast Titans, bringing with her strong form and emerging potential. A Tweed Seagulls junior, Morrissey made her NRLW debutin 2025, running out in Round 10 against the Newcastle Knights. Her speed, physicality, and competitiveness will play a key role in strengthening Parramatta’s outside-back stocks.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill, said the Club is thrilled to welcome both players.

Both players will join the squad for pre-season preparations in early 2026.
