The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce details for our U14/U15 Female Academy for the 2026 season. Now in its third year, the U14/U15 Female Academy is the first step in the Parramatta Eels Female pathway to NRLW for young girls that play in the Parramatta Junior Rugby League.
All 2026 Parramatta Junior Rugby League registered players born in 2011 (15) and 2012 (14) will be invited to nominate for the Trial Process for the Female Academy via email. The Trial Process will include a Skill Development clinic during the April School Holidays and a Trial night. The selected squad will then train once a week throughout May-July. The Program will adopt the NRL’s RISE philosophies.
Please see below timeline for the 2026 U14/U15 Female Academy:
- Monday 23 March – 2026 registered players (Born in 2011 or 2012) will receive an email from the Parramatta Eels Academy Team inviting them to nominate for the Female Academy. Please note: only those players registered for the 2026 season will receive an email. Further emails will be sent to any players who register after this date.
A link to nominate will be provided in the email. - Friday 3 April – Nominations close.
- Monday 6 April – Players to receive final details via email regarding Trial Process.
- Thursday 9 April (School Holidays) – Skill Development Clinic (AM at Eels COE – Kellyville)
- Thursday 23 April – Trial Night (PM at Eels COE – Kellyville)
- Wednesday 6 May – Squad Announced by 5pm
- May-June – Training (1 night per week – Monday’s)
- July (School Holidays) – Potential Gala Day run by NSWRL (TBC)
The Parramatta Eels Academy are also seeking Expressions of Interest for Staff roles for the U14/U15 Female Academy and U16’s Female Development Squad. Please click the link below to register your interest for coaching/trainer/manager roles. EOI’s will close on Friday 10 April, 2026.
