The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that forward Harrison Edwards has joined the Club effective immediately for the remainder of the 2026 NRL season, with a deal extending through the end of 2027.
Edwards arrives as a versatile middle forward capable of playing multiple positions providing valuable depth and flexibility to the Eels’ squad.
With the Club navigating a significant injury toll this season, his ability to step into multiple roles ensures he can contribute immediately and support the team where it’s needed most.
A reliable defender, his capacity to slot in at hooker also adds an important dimension to his game, offering further options around the ruck.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill said Edwards’ utility value made him an attractive addition to the roster.
“With three middle forwards out for the season, Harrison brings great versatility to our squad,” O’Neill said. “He is a tough competitor who also has the ability to slot in at dummy half when required. That flexibility allows him to fill a role for the team wherever needed, and we see him making a strong impact."
Edwards has played over 50 NRL games, including two finals appearances in 2024. He also earned representative honours last year, making his debut for the Prime Minister’s XIII in their 28–10 victory over the PNG Prime Minister’s XIII in Port Moresby.
