Richie Penisini is a centre born in Blacktown, NSW. A product of The King’s School and junior club Rouse Hill Rhinos, Penisini represents the Parramatta Eels’ strong commitment to developing homegrown talent through their pathways system.
A powerful and athletic outside back, Richie showcased his potential during an impressive 2023 season, featuring across SG Ball and Jersey Flegg before making his New South Wales Cup debut. His performances highlighted his work ethic, physicality, and ability to adapt at higher levels.
Rewarded for his dedication and consistent improvement, Richie was elevated from a development contract to the Parramatta Eels’ Top 30 squad in 2025, marking another significant step in his professional rugby league journey.
