Born in Penrith, NSW, Ryley Smith is a talented rugby league hooker with a strong junior and representative pedigree. He attended St Dominic’s College and began his playing journey with the Emu Plains JRLFC where he honed his skills on the field.
Ryley made his first-grade debut in 2025 for the Parramatta Eels in a match against the Melbourne Storm. He has also represented at the representative level, playing for the Australian Schoolboys in 2021 and representing Malta in 2023. Beyond rugby league, Ryley showcased his athletic versatility by representing the Australian Schoolboys in cricket.
