The Parramatta Eels today announced that the Club would play out of ANZ Stadium for the 2017 season following the closure of Parramatta Stadium for redevelopment.

With the $300m redevelopment of Parramatta Stadium not due for completion until 2019, the Eels will have 11 home games at ANZ stadium in Homebush and 1 home game in Darwin for the 2017 season.

Full season ticketed Members will have access to the 11 home games at ANZ Stadium plus access to additional Eels away games at ANZ Stadium through reciprocal access arrangements. These games will be confirmed with the release of the 2017 NRL draw.

While Parramatta Stadium will always be the home of the Eels, the Club intends to make ANZ stadium a Blue and Gold fortress in 2017.

ANZ stadium offers the best opportunity for our Club to deliver a fantastic match day experience for our members, supporters and commercial partners in 2017.

There are a number of key initiatives to ensure a smooth transition to the new stadium.

These include integrated transport options including rail and dedicated bus services from Parramatta CBD and the North West Corridor including the Hills District.

We also have two Members only bar areas for all home games with live music, kids activities, mascot/player appearances and a live stream of post-match press conference.

Through extensive member feedback and consultation the Club has also designed the ANZ Stadium members seating map to replicate Parramatta stadium, providing better seat options for Eels members

The Eels will kick off their ANZ stadium relocation with a members open day on November 20.
