The Pirtek Parramatta Eels are hoping a depleted South Sydney side will see their tides turn for the 2013 season, after slumping to their fourth successive loss to the Cronulla Sharks last weekend.
The Rabbitohs are without stars Greg Inglis, Ben Teo, Chris McQueen and Nathan Merritt due to State of Origin commitments; and George Burgess who has been stood down for disciplinary reasons.
Despite that, Eels prop Mitch Allgood says he's not expecting the Bunnies to be any less dangerous.
"We don't look at them as more beatable because they're away at Origin, we are looking at them as if they're playing with their top 17 players," Allgood said.
The Eels showed some promising signs in the first half last week only to be steamrolled in the second - but Chis Sandow says the side is still taking positive signs into Sunday's clash.
"We stuck with what we planned the first half but in the second half didn't have much ball- if we had as much ball as Cronulla had then we'd have won the game," Sandow said.
"We have to treat the ball as gold and hopefully we can do it this weekend."
For the Eels, Jacob Loko will return to the side after a week playing NSW Cup for disciplinary reasons, and will start in the centres with Cheyse Blair moving to 18th man.
The game is celebrating the Parramatta District Junior League and all the volunteers, coaches and parents who make it possible.
Kick-off is at 3pm at ANZ Stadium.
