The Dyldam Parramatta Eels take on the Wests Tigers this Easter Monday (28 March) at ANZ Stadium for their Round Four clash of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

The Eels will enter Monday’s clash against the Wests Tigers looking for their third victory of the season, after wins over the North Queensland Cowboys and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs over the last two weeks.

Blue and Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur has made one change to his side for the clash, welcoming back second rower Manu Ma’u from suspension into his starting side, with forward Kenny Edwards moving back to an extended bench that also includes Kaysa Pritchard, Peni Terepo, Danny Wicks and David Gower.

For the home side, the Wests Tigers, Head Coach Jason Taylor welcomes back hooker Robbie Farah whilst experienced forward Chris Lawrence will miss a week from suspension, forcing last week’s No.9 Dene Halatau into Lawrence’s back row slot.

The Tigers will be looking to bounce back after their loss to the Gold Coast Titans last week.

Starting the season after impressive and high-scoring wins over the New Zealand Warriors and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the opening two weeks of the competition, the Tigers will be looking for their third win of the season.

The traditional Easter Monday clash always brings the best out from both sides, however the Wests Tigers walked away winners in their last Easter Monday clash. The Eels however, have won two of the past four clashes between the two sides, including a 28-16 victory in their last encounter, but lost four straight prior to that.

With a victory over the Bulldogs last week at ANZ Stadium, the Blue and Gold have also won two of their past three visits to the stadium.

Blue and Gold halfback Kieran Foran will play his 150th NRL First Grade Game.

Kick off is at 4:00pm with the game shown live on FOX Sports.

With crowds of over 50,000 and 35,000 taking in the match over the last two years, it’s definitely a fixture you don’t want to miss!
