Moeroa charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels forward Tepai Moeroa has been charged by the NRL Match Review committee following the Club’s Round 13 clash against the Newcastle Knights at ANZ Stadium on Saturday 2 June.

Moeroa was charged with a Grade Three Shoulder Charge in the 48th minute of the clash involving Knights forward Chris Heighington. 

Moeroa’s charge has a base penalty of 500 points for the offence.

And early guilty plea will see Moeroa miss three weeks of the competition whilst a guilty finding will see Moeroa miss five weeks of the competition.

The Club has until 12pm Tuesday to respond to the charge.
