In round 15 against the South Sydney Rabbitohs he sacrificed his best chance at scoring a try this season, by passing just meters from an open tryline for Bevan French to score.

Earlier this week he was selected in Tonga's train-on squad for the upcoming test match against Australia, after several appearances for them at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Since his NRL debut in 2013, this was the third time Terepo played 20 or more matches in a season.
