Eels to honour victims of Christchurch

The Parramatta Eels Club is deeply saddened by the horrific events in Christchurch yesterday.

Our entire Parramatta Eels community (players, directors, staff, partners, members and fans) offer our deepest sympathies to the victims, their families and friends, as well as the people of New Zealand.

As a mark of respect and in recognition of the victims, our players will wear black armbands in our first round match against the Penrith Panthers on Sunday March 17.

Acknowledgement of Country

Parramatta Eels respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
