At each Eels home game at ANZ Stadium and Bankwest Stadium in 2019, the 50-50 Charity Raffle will raise money for the Parramatta Eels Charity Partner for that selected game.
The total proceeds of all 50-50 tickets sold at each game go into a prize pool, with 50% of the prize pool going to the lucky winner of the random draw and 50% being donated to the nominated Charity Partner (-10% administration fee from 50-50).
In Round 3, when the Parramatta Eels took on the Sydney Roosters at ANZ Stadium on Friday night, March 29, the Club worked alongside the Blue & Gold Charity Partner United Against Domestic Violence (UADV) to assist with the ongoing work they do within the community.
UADV are an advocate for the principle that all families have the right to be safe, empowered, and live a life free from violence and fear. They are catalysts for changing society to have zero tolerance for domestic violence and alter social perceptions on victims of domestic violence. Their mission is to work closely with the local community and businesses to provide support to families who have survived the atrocities of domestic violence.
Thanks to the generous support from the Members and fans in attendance at the Round Three game, the total prize pool reached $4,975
UADV received $2,238 in funds thanks to the generous support.
Eels Member, Amanda Silvio was the lucky recipient of the random draw, walking away with $2,487.50
