The Parramatta Eels return home to Bankwest Stadium in round eight for the second ever NRL clash at the Eels home ground on Sunday afternoon (5 May) for their clash against the St. George Illawarra Dragons.

With casual tickets selling strongly in the lead up, we are expecting another huge crowd at the game to cheer the Blue & Gold on. Be there for a great afternoon of Sunday football with the Wentworthville Magpies clashing with the Dragons in the Canterbury Cup before the NRL clash.

GETTING TO THE GAME

Event-goers will be able to catch the train, bus or other public transport services to and from the stadium for free using their event ticket or Club Memberships.

The best way to get to and from Bankwest Stadium is by public transport with only a very limited amount of parking available.

PRE GAME ACTIVITY AND ENTERTAINMENT

There will be plenty of pre-game activity and a buzz of excitement around the grounds of Bankwest Stadium in Round Eight! Check out some of the activity below.

Precinct (External)

Our Blue & Gold Membership team will also be available for enquires and assistance with a presence at Gate B. Become a member and be Parra Proud in 2019. They will be also handing out Blue & Gold junior passports so young Blue & Gold Members should pop into the marquee ahead of entering Bankwest Stadium.

For queries or assistance with tickets, please visit our Ticketing window located at Gate B. The Eels Ticket Box office located at Gate B will be open from 12:45pm and is available for any Eels Ticket Collections or Game Day enquiries.

Parramatta Eels Community Partners Featherdale Wildlife Park will be located at Gate B. Head down early and you may be lucky to meet some baby animals including a Tawny Frogmouth & Joey.

Life Education will have their Mobile Learning Centre at Gate B with activities in the van, merchandise sales and promotional hand outs.

Men of League will also be located at Gate B with Membership registrations and handing out mini flags, pins and shoelaces for the Blue & Gold in attendance.

The 50-50 Charity Raffle will also have volunteers roaming Bankwest Stadium raising money for Men of League.  Be part of the 50-50 Charity Raffle, sponsored by Parramatta Leagues Club. Blue & Gold Members and fans should also keep their eyes peeled for Bubble Girl in between Gate A & B, creating fun big bubbles for the kids, Big Baller Wipeout and Rescue Squad Inflatables at Gate B and a DJ, Dart Ball & Connect Four inflatable and human statue also located at Gate B.

Wheelchair Rugby League will be located on the basketball courts located at Gate A with an activation to allow Blue & Gold Members and fans an opportunity to get involved in the game.

Blue & Gold Merchandise will be located at Gate B along with a presence inside the stadium located between Gate A & B.

Plus keep an eye out for the Parramatta Eels Cheerleaders along with Sparky & Sparkles who will be roaming the precinct in the lead up to the on field action.

Western Sydney University will also have a roaming presence in the precinct conducting research on the Game Day Experience and stadium.

Bankwest Stadium will also have food and beverage vans outside Gate B so keep your eyes out for the various options.

Precinct (Internal)

Upon entering Bankwest Stadium, Blue & Gold Members and fans should keep their eyes peeled on some of the activity before the on field action kicks off.

The 50-50 Charity Raffle will also have volunteers roaming Bankwest Stadium raising money for Men of League.  Be part of the 50-50 Charity Raffle, sponsored by Parramatta Leagues Club. Membership will have a presence inside the stadium located near Gate D.

Head to the Eels Merchandise outlets internal of Gate A and B and in the precinct near Gate B to kit up for the season ahead. Show your 2019 Eels Membership card and save 10%.

Keep an eye for our Fan Experience Team will be will greeting Members and fans at the gates, assisting at the internal Membership outlets, ushering Members to their seats and assisting Members and fans to their seats along with our Membership Outlet located at Gate D.

Keep an eye out for a photobooth located opposite to Aisle 217 along with face painters located at Aisle 211 & 218 for Blue & Gold Members and fans to get into the spirit and show their support.

The Parramatta Eels Cheerleaders and Sparky & Sparkles will also be roaming.

Members Lounge ’47 will be making its debut at Bankwest Stadium for our Round 8 clash with the Dragons! The brand-new Members Lounge ’47 will be located in the North-West Premium Terrace of Bankwest Stadium and is again the perfect place for Members to meet and mingle prior to first grade kicking off! Members Lounge ’47 will be open from 1pm.*

On field

The Canterbury Cup will kick things off from 1:40pm with the Wentworthville Magpies taking on the Dragons before the NRL clash at 4:05pm.

Ahead of kick off, along with our brand new pre-game show, the Blue & Gold Army Flag will be raised along with a Guard of Honour with the Parramatta Eels Cheerleaders and the NRL team to run out with the Junior League Team of the Week.

Keep your eyes on the big screen and LEDs for our brand new pre-game show to play before kick off!

During half-time, the Parramatta Eels Cheerleaders will perform before you can participate in dance cam for your chance to win a signed jersey.

After the game, kids will be allowed on field approximately 10-15 minutes after the full time siren so keep an eye out for the instructions and listen carefully to our ground announcers who will explain the process.
