At each Eels home game at Bankwest Stadium in 2019, the 50-50 Charity Raffle will raise money for the Parramatta Eels Charity Partner for that selected game.
The total proceeds for all 50-50 tickets sold at each game go into a prize pool, with 50% ‘of the prize pool going to the lucky winner of the random draw and 50% being donated to the nominated Charity Partner (-10% administration fee from 50-50)
In Round Twelve, when the Parramatta Eels defeated the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Bankwest Stadium on Friday 31 May, the Club worked alongside Blue & Gold Charity partner, The Westmead Children's Hospital to assist with the ongoing work they do. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is the highly respected, largest paediatric centre in NSW, providing excellent care for children from NSW, Australia and across the Pacific Rim.
Thanks to the generous support from the Members and fans in attendance at the Round twelve game, the total prize pool reached $6305.
The winner of the random draw, Jerry, generously donated his winnings of $3,152.50 back to the Hospital, with the Hospital receiving $5674.50.
In the upcoming Round fourteen clash when the Eels take on the Brisbane Broncos at Bankwest Stadium on June 15, the 50-50 Charity Raffle will be raising funds for Stay Kind.
