Eels continue support & commitment to the Stay Kind initiative

Players share thoughts on Stay Kind initiative

This Saturday night on June 15 when the Parramatta Eels take on the Brisbane Broncos at Bankwest Stadium in Round 14 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, the Blue & Gold will once again show their full support and commitment to the Stay Kind initiative.

A message developed in partnership with the Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation, Stay Kind Cup was established over the last two seasons to raise awareness for the Foundation and promote prevention of self-harm and suicide to our youth.

This year, the Blue & Gold will promote Stay Kind during their clash with the Brisbane Broncos. They will show their commitment to this important cause by including Stay Kind on their jersey, while the Broncos will show their support with Stay Kind socks.

Parramatta Eels major sponsor ALAND strongly believe in the Stay Kind movement and were honoured to have the cause represented alongside their logo on the front of the jersey.

The Thomas Kelly Youth Foundation launched the Stay Kind initiative in memory of Stuart Kelly, remembered for his continued support and kindness to his brother Thomas and to others.

Stay Kind is about kindness and respect towards all people, no matter who we are or how different we are.

Stay Kind is about fostering a supportive environment in all aspects of life and community; within your family, sport, work and school.

Stay Kind is about a social movement of kindness that encourages communities, families and young people to demonstrate and practice kindness.

You can help to expand Stay Kind initiatives for a more caring community through by visiting staykind.org.au.
