Parramatta Eels forward Peni Terepo has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round Fifteen clash against the Canberra Raiders at Darwin's TIO Stadium on Saturday 29 June.
Terepo has been charged with a grade-two reckless high tackle charge following an incident involving Jordan Rapana in the 28th minute of Parramatta's win over Canberra in Darwin.
Terepo's charge has a base penalty of 400 points for the offence with 300 for an early guilty plea and 400 if found guilty from this charge.
Terepo will miss three weeks if he enters an early guilty plea but risks a four-match ban if he challenges the charge at the judiciary.
*** UPDATE: Terepo entered an early guilty plea earlier in the week and will miss three matches. He will be available for selection in Round 20 when the Eels take on the Dragons on 4 August 2019.
