Ferguson only crossed for four tries this season, his first coming in the Eels Round 17 clash against the Warriors, and his tally being his lowest try tally in a year over his entire career.

However his work rate out from deep within the Eels end of the field cannot be questioned. He ran for a total of 3,069 metres over the year, an average of 153 per game.
