The Parramatta NRLW squad are hoping to bounce back from the heartbreak of their third round loss at today's game in Melbourne.
The women take on the Gold Coast Titans at AAMI Park from 1:05pm today as both teams vie for their first victory of the season.
It will be a must win match for the Eels to keep their finals dreams alive in their second season.
Prop forward Kennedy Cherrington – who was visibly devastated and upset after the loss to the Dragons – believes it will be a “tough” match against the Titans.
“It will be a great game because they are also chasing their first win. It’s going to be a tough game,” she said.
“Travelling is going to be fun down to Melbourne - especially before the prelim finals so there’s going to be a lot more hype around the game - but Parra is just focusing on our job and taking those learnings from Round 1 to 3 into Round 4.”
Tayla Preston has been one of the star players of the team since making her debut in the second round and is ready to steer the girls around AAMI Park.
“Both teams obviously unlucky to get any wins this season so far, so I think Titans are going to come out firing,” the half-back said.
“But we’re up for the challenge and we’ll be really looking to get those two points this weekend.”
Preston will look to her halves partner Ash Quinlan as the combination continue to go from strength to strength.
“I feel like we work really well together. Our comms is getting better and better each game and hopefully we can build better and stronger,” she added.
