Eels extend the holiday cheer with free clinics

Following the overwhelming interest in the recent Parramatta Eels x Motiv8sports holiday camp announcement, the Eels are thrilled to announce additional opportunities for young fans to engage in active participation experiences as part of the Parra Eels Play initiative.

The Eels, in collaboration with NRL game development officers, will provide free holiday clinics tailored for primary school age children in the Parramatta and Cumberland Council region. The clinics aim to foster a love for the game among the younger generation while also providing the community with important free holiday activities for kids.

The free clinics are designed to offer a unique and enjoyable experience for primary school children, allowing them to get a taste of playing League in a fun, inclusive and non-contact environment led by experienced coaches.

Clinics are an opportunity for kids to develop their skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Is there an age limit?

Yes, the age of the participants is to be between 5-12 years old.

Is drop off available?

No, all parents are required to stay and spectate as the activities are not designed to be a long-term child-minding service. Parents are welcome to bring their work with their laptops and work from the facility. We also have some parents that enjoy participating in the activity with their children which we also encourage.

What to bring?

Please ensure your children have a water bottle and hat. Your children should also be wearing suitable clothing and shoes.

Will Eels players be attending?

Where possible, there will be appearances from NRL and/or NRLW Parramatta Eels players. Appearances are not guaranteed at every holiday clinic.

The Parramatta Eels are dedicated to creating a lasting impact on the community and fostering the growth of rugby league. As the excitement builds for the upcoming season, families are encouraged to take this opportunity to be a part of the Parramatta Eels' journey in inspiring the next generation.
