Four Eels picked in NSW Origin U19 teams

Parramatta Eels juniors Matt Arthur, Sam Tuivaiti, Lindsay Tui and Ryvvr Lee Alo have been selected to represent NSW in the 2024 State of Origin U19 fixtures.

Matt Arthur has been a standout player for the Eels' NSW Cup team in 2024. The young hooker is known for his crafty ball-playing and rigid defence, and has featured in all 13 NSW Cup games this year.

Sam Tuivaiti has been key to the Eels' Jersey Flegg Cup team this year. The explosive front rower has started every match in 2024, and also played in the NSW Origin U19 team last year.

Both Arthur and Tuivaiti have progressed through the Eels Pathways system, and were members of the Parramatta side that won the 2023 SG Ball Cup Grand Final.

Lindsay Tui made her NRLW debut with the Eels in 2023 before representing Samoa at the end of the year. The skilful centre previously played for the NSW Origin U19 side last season.

Ryvrr Lee Alo was a member of the Eels' Tarsha Gale Cup team in 2024, starting every game at lock and scoring five tries in as many matches to end the season.

Kate Mullaly, Eels NRLW Assistant Coach, will coach the NSW Origin U19 Women's team.

The Blues will face Queensland in the 2024 State of Origin U19 clashes at Leichhardt Oval on Thursday 20 June. The matches will be broadcast by Channel 9, 9Now, Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.
