The Parramatta Eels are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Greg Heddles, Eel #365.
Greg proudly wore the Blue & Gold in 1978, making three First Grade appearances, including a standout performance off the bench in the Minor Preliminary Semi-Final against Canterbury, where he scored two memorable tries. He also featured in the club's AMCO Cup quarter-final clash with the Dragons that same year.
Beyond his time with the Eels, Greg represented New South Wales Country Firsts and Seconds level, a testament to his skill and dedication to the game.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Greg’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever hold a place in our club’s history as Parramatta Eel #365.
