Cowboys v Eels Round 24 Team List Announcement
The Parramatta Eels side to take on the North Queensland Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium on Friday 24 August in Round 24 of the NRL Telstra Premiership has been named by Blue & Gold Head Coach Brad Arthur.
After suffering a 20-4 defeat to the Melbourne Storm last week, Arthur has made handful of changes to his side for the clash with Kane Evans and Cameron King set to return from injury whilst Nathan Brown has been ruled out with injury.
Evans has been named in the starting front row alongside Siosaia Vave with Peni Terepo named at lock in place of Brown. Tim Mannah shifts to the bench alongside the returning King with David Gower and Brad Takairangi also named on the bench. Ray Stone, Oregon Kaufusi, Josh Hoffman and Bevan French have been the reserves.
Cowboys captain Johnathan Thurston will play his last home game at 1300SMILES Stadium in Round 24.
