Parramatta Eels forward Junior Paulo has today been named in the Samoa squad to face Papua New Guinea on Saturday 22 June in the 2019 Ox & Palm Pacific Test Invitational at Leichhardt Oval.
Paulo is the lone Blue & Gold representative in the 18 man squad named that includes a wealth of NRL experience to be captained by Anthony Milford.
Forward Martin Taupau will feature in the clash after he announced earlier in the week his allegiance to Samoa after withdrawing from New Zealand’s mid-year Test.
The Samoa v PNG clash is the third game of the triple at Leichhardt Oval with the inaugural women’s match between the Papua New Guinea Orchids and Fiji Bulikula along with the Fiji and Lebanon clash on the same day.
The women’s match will be broadcast live across NRL digital platforms plus Kayo Sports and the two men’s matches will be broadcast nationally across the Nine Network, Fox Sports and NRL Live Pass, as well as Sky NZ in New Zealand.
