Man of the Match: Eels v Broncos, Round 19

The Parramatta Eels came away with a 26-12 victory over the Brisbane Broncos at Bankwest Stadium on Friday 18 September in Round 19 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.

Following the clash, the Blue & Gold Army voted Eels captain Clint Gutherson as their My Muscle Chef Man of the Match!

Along with his two tries, fullback Clint Gutherson also topped the run metres with 189m from 19 runs, 1 line break, 2 line break assists, one try assist and five tackle breaks. He claimed close to 70% of the 1,300 votes submitted!

Blake Ferguson made plenty of tough carries out of the Eels end finishing with 175m from 19 runs, two line breaks and four tackle breaks.

Kane Evans brought plenty of impact as he was called into the starting side, finishing with 154m from 15 runs and 23 tackles whilst Junior Paulo (136m from 13 runs and 20 tackles) and Nathan Brown (133m from 16 runs and 35 tackles) also performed strongly.

In his milestone game, Ryan Matterson finished the night with 114m from 10 runs and 100% tackle efficiency with 42 tackles.
