Eels trio named for series decider

Parramatta Eels trio Clint Gutherson, Junior Paulo and Nathan Brown have been named in the NSW Blues squad for the upcoming State of Origin series decider.

After levelling the series with a 34-10 victory at ANZ Stadium in Game II, the series will go down to the third and final game of the series on Wednesday 18 November at Suncorp Stadium.

Head Coach Brad Fittler has retained the same players from 1-17 who won Game Two in Sydney to keep the Blues hopes alive of retaining the Origin shield they have held for the past two years. Ryan Papenhuyzen, Jarome Luai and Nic Cotric have been named on the extended bench for the first time this series.
