Simaima Taufa has been named Captain of the inaugural Parramatta Eels NRLW team.
The experienced lock forward is a former Australian and NSW Origin representative player, and also captained the Sydney Roosters in the NRLW.
Taufa also won the Dally M Female Player of the Year in 2017.
The NRLW competition starts on February 27 with a triple header in Newcastle.
