NRLW Team List: Round 1

The Parramatta Eels have named their squad for their 2023 NRLW season-opener against Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.

The new-look side is captained by Kennedy Cherrington and Rachael Pearson, and features eleven fresh faces.

Representative stars Rachael Pearson, Elsie Albert, Mahalia Murphy, Shontelle Stowers, Talesha O'Neill and Amelia Mafi will each make their first NRLW appearance since joining the Eels this season.

Five players will make their NRLW debut in Pihuka Berryman-Duff, Capri Paekau, Jade Fonua, Shannon Muru and Madeline Jones.

Zali Fay, Abbi Church, Cassey Tohi-Hiku, Rueben Cherrington, Ruby-Jean Kennard and Kennedy Cherrington all return from the squad which reached the 2022 NRLW Grand Final.

The Eels will face a Wests Tigers side playing their inaugural NRLW match as one of four new teams joining the competition this year.

The match will be played at Parramatta's home, CommBank Stadium as a standalone event on Sunday, kicking off at 12pm.
