The Parramatta Eels have confirmed their inaugural Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership line-up.
The team, coached by Scott Fava, will make history at 4 Pines Park on Saturday as the Eels play their first match since joining NSW's premier women's competition for the 2024 season.
Tahleisha Maeva will lead the Harvey Norman Women's Premiership (HNWP) team as its inaugural Captain.
The Eels recently revealed their full squad for their maiden HNWP season, with Parramatta juniors featuring prominently.
A shift in competition format sees the HNWP serve as a reserve grade to the NRLW in 2024. As such, several members of the Eels' top 24 squad have been selected for the Round 1 match against Manly.
Tyla Amiatu, Chloe Jackson, Tafao Asaua and Rory Owen, as well as NRLW development players Yasmine Baker and Chelsea Makira, are all set to feature.
The HNWP team enjoyed a trial match win over the Cronulla Sharks in their first hit-out last week.
This week's inaugural match will be held on Saturday 6 July at 4 Pines Park against the Manly Sea Eagles, kicking off at 3pm.
